Your best bet for getting to Barnes is always going to be by public transport and we just wanted to remind you that Hammersmith Bridge is CLOSED to all traffic including buses.
So we’re going to suggest that you plan your trip using BARNES STATION (South West Trains) It’s about 10 minutes from Clapham Junction and about 20 from Waterloo.

Walking from Barnes Station
Barnes Pond is about a 10 minute walk from Barnes Station. Walk through Barnes Common along Station Road and the Pond will be on your right hand side.
